Two injury-hit sides meet in Stockholm, but current form and squad depth suggest Häcken are better equipped to handle the situation.
Djurgården are averaging just 0.67 goals for and 1.33 against (1.10–1.20 xG), and at home it’s a similar story: 0.60–1.00 goals (1.36–1.15 xG). The team has struggled to score—just 6 goals in 9 games—including an own goal and with no player scoring more than once. The attack lacks form and sharpness, while the midfield is increasingly depleted. Gulliksen returns from suspension, but Stensson is now out, and with Schüller, Ekdal, and others still injured, the central unit looks both fatigued and vulnerable.
Häcken have injury concerns of their own but have managed them better. Andersen has looked composed since stepping into central defense, and the midfield has been revitalized by Leach Holm, who has 4 goals in his last 2 games. Their attacking production is holding up well: 1.60–1.70 goals per game (1.50–1.42 xG), and away from home: 1.25–1.50 goals (1.34–1.70 xG).
Djurgården’s deepening midfield issues, attacking struggles, and signs of fatigue—especially after their packed schedule including a deep Conference League run—tilt this match towards the visitors. Häcken +0.5 at 1.80 looks like solid value in what should be a more even contest than the market implies.
